The Senior Web Developer will report into the CTO but will largely be responsible for one or two self or client-managed projects which can range from maintaining facebook gaming applications to building advanced data-driven platforms that utilize web 2.0 technologies and tie into the current ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Code primarily in PHP
• Design and build software with millions of users all around the world
• Thrive in a very agile development process with weekly releases
• Work closely with other developers to implement applications across a variety of platforms
• Get things done the right way and in an efficient manner
• Participate in occasional design and code reviews

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
• Extensive experience programming in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX and CSS
• Object oriented programming experience
• Experience with HTTP, SQL, TCP/IP
• Strong computer architecture and computer science fundamentals
• Experience with web UI/UX desgin
• 3-5 years in web development, or more
• Intermediate understanding and ability to write and communicate in English
• Experience with Facebook Canvas, REST, JSON, and API/Web-Services is a plus
• Especially interested in candidates with Ruby and/or Python programming experience
